Great Adventures in Perth

Some people say that Perth is a sleepy city which is more fitting for people that want a laid-back vacation. Is it really so?

For those who have never been to Perth city, there are actually a lot of exciting activities near the city. In fact, there are wide arrays of fun and enjoyable adventures on your next travel journey. Here are some of them:

1. Race speed with a rally driver. Addict for speed? If you are, then enlist yourself for a heart pounding ride in 6 speed Holdent V8 race car at MC Motorport! This V8 car is equipped with race seats, harnesses, roll cage and race aero kit. You will be provided with a race suit, safety helmet with a hair net and safety shoes. You will then be sitting as a passenger where a race driver will tour you to a few laps on the race track, which is a 1.6 km road at AHG Driving Centre, about 12km from Perth city The first lap of your journet is a slow one but watch out for the 2nd lap as this will be the ride of your life a blast off at 180km per hour!

2. Enjoy the waves at Scarborough. Wanted to know how to surf? How about going to the hands of Perth  Go Surf! This is an academy of Surfing that is accredited and has a learning class at the Brighton beach. First basic lessons are in shallow waters involving correct posture when in the surf board, paddling the techniques of lifting your body up. Once done with the basics, you will then proceed to paddle in white waters. Paddling technique actually helps you gain momentum in the waters, and once you achieve a good momentum, the water will help the surf board move by it own, same with the water waves. Along the way, ample attention is given by the trainers around to help you in your surf board learning and adventure.

3. Fly with a helicopter. Care to go on a flight with a helicopter? If you do, sign up with Heli West’s Program - the Trial Introductory Flight. This company operates most highly regarded trainings school of flying  helicopters in Perth. The trainer explains different controls in the helicopter control cockpit, how to increase altitude or decrease, and others. With all basics explained, it’s time you take a thrill flight!
